Damon House Shutters Coming in March 2018
Last summer, our "Good Neighbors Paint Good Fences" event drew more than 100 community members together to paint 300-feet of fence along Bridge Street in less than an hour. Thanks to our local sponsors, we also raised more than $10,000 for new shutters for the Damon House. The historically-accurate, green shutters will be installed during March, returning the yellow Damon House to its original 1813 glory. The shutters were custom-made by Thayer Street Associates in South Deerfield and painted by Northeast Paint of Northampton.
