"There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" by The Smiths is one of my all time favorite songs. I incorporated the lyrics, which have always felt comforting, yet at the same time haunting and nostalgic, into a collage. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the lyrics take a different meaning. Listening to this song now reminds me of the times we used to have, before quarantine. Someday I'll hear "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" while going out where there's music and there's people (who are young and alive), but for now, I'll just dream about it. Katie L., 17
