Volunteering at Historic Northampton

Historic Northampton relies on volunteers to perform many essential tasks.

What do volunteers do? Volunteers:
  • accession incoming donations of collection items
  • help with the grounds and gardening
  • greet visitors at special events
  • get our membership mailings in the mail
  • conduct research
  • photograph collection items
  • make sure our computers work
  • help in the museum store
  • paint our exhibition galleries
  • process archival collections
  • help with tasks to maintain the historic houses

If you're interested in volunteering, complete the contact form at right and tell us a bit about yourself and your interests.  If you wish to send a resume, email us at
info@historicnorthampton.org.
