Join Tom Riddell and Barbara Blumenthal, both longtime members of the Northampton State Hospital Memorial Committee and current trustees of Historic Northampton, on a walking tour of the former campus of the Northampton State Hospital. Learn about the property's human and institutional history.

In addition to their roles on the Northampton State Hospital Memorial Committee and Historic Northampton, Tom and Barbara have a longstanding interest in the hospital's history. Barbara has lived near the state hospital grounds for more than 40 years. Before retiring from Smith College, Tom taught classes and gave public lectures on the history of the State Hospital. |
