MIDNIGHT TO MIDNIGHT

You make history daily. Northampton's Photo Documentation Project documents people, places and events of 21st century Northampton in photographs taken by the present generation.

For the inaugural project Midnight to Midnight (M2M), we invited the community to photograph everyday life in Northampton, Florence and Leeds as it occurred during a 48 hour period. Over 100 participants submitted nearly 1000 photographs capturing city scenes for a permanent archive at Historic Northampton and Forbes Library. The photographs were presented at three slide shows beginning with the ice cream social at Historic Northampton held in August 2014.

Midnight to Midnight was held in collaboration with the Northampton Photography Group and Forbes Library.  The project was sponsored by Florence Savings Bank with a kick-off party sponsored by Jakes Restaurant in Northampton.  eclecTechs provided the 48 Hours website hosting.
